Anyone wanna switch for Kin 1Y03?

umm maybe not because i wont any other course to fill that spot...because kin is a decent course as an elective but i need stats!

ive been trying to get into stats 2b03 all day,,,and its always full. I emailed the department and they said that they are saving most of the spots for 3rd years cuz they need the classs for there 4th year thesis.

But if u have the fortune of getting in let me know...so I wont give up hope lol

alright thanks! i called them too and gave me the same reply so i thought someone might be ready to switch for a decent course like kin..but ya theres no way im giving up now, gotta check SOLAR everyday

haha i kno

but its a second year course...we still need it for our requirements as well..and im giving up cell bio 2b03 for it which is a pretty good course as well.

ohh nice! actually it doesnt make sense stats 2b03 is a second year course but they saving spots for third year?? why not make it stats 3b03 so no second year can take it lol

It's a second year course due to the material that you learn. It's actually supposed to be taken in third year.

No, the material is easy enough hence why it's labeled as a level II course. But if you do a thesis later on, you will probably forget most of the statistical calculations you will need when analyzing your data.

Nope. This stats course is tailored for Science students (which I should mention does not include Math students although they are apart of the Science Faculty). You only learn what you need to analyze data that you would obtain from research.

haha true...btw Kin 1Y03 was AVAIL a few mins ago i dont know if u were able to get in!
