I think it might be too late this year.. but does anyone know how to sign up for the battle of the bands? is it open only to McMaster students? if yes, can my friends perform with me? is it free to perform?
i also heard that there are prizes for the best band.. do you know how that works?
You are indeed too late. The application process starts in late January/early February. The finals were actually on Wednesday night.
As for prizes...I'm not too sure. The band who won (Stars in Stereo) had an interview with the Sil and are going to the next stage in a few weeks.

Not all of the band does. I'm not sure if it's at least one member or two, or a percentage though. I had friends who competed a few years ago who only had two out of the five members who went to Mac.
