Focus 2040 is asking business students across the country to give us their ideas on what they think the world of work will be like in the year 2040!

Our top prize this year is $5000! As well as $3000 and $2000 for 2nd and 3rd place. We are also giving the chance to our Top 10 to interview for internship positions with some of our sponsors (including an internship all the way in Paris!).

The competition is set up in three phases in which everyone submits for Phase 1; we narrow it down to a top 25 for Phase 2; and then narrow it down again to a Top 10 for Phase 3 to present their ideas in front of a panel of judges right here in Hamilton.

Phase 1 is due JANUARY 20th!! It is a 750 composition by yourself or with a partner answering:

How will the employee of 2040 change the world of work in 2040?

How many people usually enter? The idea seems interesting enough

Well I'm not allowed to say how many people usually apply, but we are a fairly new competition so we do hope to see more apply. We are open to eng management students, as well as those taking business minors.
