How's the language though? It's hard to find that balance between cutting out important information, and droning on...I suppose I should write a bit more to illustrate the point.
The reason I'm asking now is that I'm lazy and it took me a surprisingly large amount of time to make the images...haha.

I think the language is basic and students taking the course will be able to understand.
I like the colours of the graphs, it makes it easier to understand.

math is easier then most people think. You have to remember that all it is is a language that help explains relation. The better you know the basics the easier it is to do the more advanced stuff. And wow it is raining right now and i have to walk to work. God dammit. Anyways.
Exactly. Math really isn't hard at all. When people usually have problems with it its because they don't have a strong foundation with it. Math is one of those subjects that you need to know the basics and understand them. Its amazing how your view of math will change once you realize this stuff.
Couldn't have put it better. Sadly, a lot of people give up on math really early that they don't give the time to learn it and build the foundation they need for the future :(

It's also the teacher's responsibility in elementary and highschool to build a good foundation.
Honestly, my elementary school wasn't the greatest when it came to teaching math and I'm happy that I did Kumon during that time.
Students shouldn't have to go to external sources in order to build a good foundation for math but sadly that is not the case.

True, but I had great teachers in elementary school, some people just weren't willing to try to learn it at the very least. Even though, it would've built a really strong math foundation for them.
Kumon was definitely really helpful for everyone I know! Haven't personally been in it though.

I would also add its the parent's responsibility too. I won't lie when I was young my mom would always make me sit down and do work with me and in fact challenge me too. Maybe because they were both architectural engineers (yes they went to uni together :o). But anyways it stopped around early middle school maybe earlier, however, because of that I would say I was more inclined to do work and do well. Lets just say I like to win
