Changes to OSAP Account - PLEASE REPLY
hey guys!
I recently applied for osap, but stupid me, I had read one of the questions wrong.
When they asked if my parents lived within 40km of the school, I selected 'yes' instead of 'no'.
I live in toronto, and thats about 70-80km away from the mcmaster.
If I change it, will osap give me more money because I live further?
Or does that even matter?

You should probably change it, just talk to the financial advisors at McMaster (sfas.mcmaster.ca).

Will that change the amount of OSAP i'm going to get?
I have some other changes to make as well, I'm thinking of just cancelling that application and filling out a new one

I think it's only used for entitlement of certain bursaries.

I did the same mistake on my application last year. After I talked to them and changed it, the money I got from OSAP almost doubled! So yes, it makes a big difference!

There's a tab for application changes.
