Conditional offer question
So my friend has a conditional offer for Engineering I and it stipulates that he has to attain B's in both A-level physics and math. He's worried that he might get a C in either of the 2 subjects and is wondering what would happen to his offer should that occur, anyone have an idea?
Would they revoke his offer or simply make him take some extra classes?

Conditional offers are evil (so to speak). If the condition is that he needs B's in both physics and math, he has to get B's in both to meet the conditions of the offer. So yes, they can revoke his offer (I ran into a conditional offer for grad school!). You could always contact the reigstar if your friend runs into problems... maybe he can take them in summer school?

Contact academic advising. Generally you have to meet all conditions in your conditional offer otherwise your offer gets rescinded.

If it helps, bio isn't a course taken into consideration for your entrance average for engineering (unless it's one of your top six).
