Dota Teams for the tournament?
I was wondering who is alerady in a dota team and who is looking that way people can find a team to join and maybe get a practice in. Currently there are two teams from hedden hall.
teams:
[BEER] FULL
[STD] FULL

Please post the teams that will be playing and that way we can gauge how many games should be played per round.

Great idea for the thread, that was fast on the team creation.... i like that the teams are not random for this event

Anyone not in a team at the time of the event can be joined up in a team the day of the event... there is probally time for some practice at the day of the event, but better yet, come to the free lan party this saturday, feb 28th in bsb121 from 12noon to 6pm and you can find your teammates there

Can we get clarity as to whether or not its cm. Because i know that organized teams would drive on cm so they can plan strategies and beat teams of higher skill based on picks and decisive play versus overall skill.

I will let you know within the next 1-2 days. To be fair to the general LAN group i asked a second opinion (as i don't play DOTA competitively), and am awaiting a result.

Hey, I'm looking for a team.

I'm a good team player; I'll listen to anyone willing to lead. I'm good at sharing lanes and providing boosts to help keep people alive. I don't mind death matches nor random picks, as I've played my fair share of characters.

I'd like to be in a team that supports each other and is organized/coordinated and has at least some kind of strategic talk before playing the game... Because yeah, it's a tournament and I want to be on the winning team. >=]

I emailed the CA from LesPrince, we held a tournament there before, and he may bring a team or two (but more likely CS)... Also there is Mike K. (one of the winners of the last tournament), and Omas and company.... no word yet if they are coming.

=Kevin

Side Note: I thought there was a lot of hardcore cs players? I guess they are put off that Source isnt offered (*wont play on school comps*)

Hey i might come to this tournament, i am not so bad either. Just a thought, does anyone play local dota here at mac as teams? i know usually bnet is the way to go.

I dont play on battle net but rather on a private server HeLL (www.hellcraft.net) and this server is expanding real fast.
