Hi i was wondering can would it be possible to take all the courses the engineers are taking, but being in the computer science program, i would like to transfer to engineering in my second year. because i see
OMPUTER SCIENCE I: 30 UNITS {0145}COMPUTER SCIENCE I CO-OP {0145003} Note
Computer Science I students interested in entering the Honours Business Informatics program must take ECON 1B03 and 1BB3 as six units of electives.
6 units COMP SCI 1FC3, 1MD39 units MATH 1Z04, 1ZZ515 units Electives (See Note above)1 courseENGINEER 1A00
because i plan into going into nanotech studies or some form of materials science that involves nanotech studies
All the first year courses are obviously required and it is a fairly heavy course load. is there a reason that you are going from comp sci to eng rather than taking eng with some comp sci courses as your elective? I know a few people that transferred into engineering, but had to do all of first year again. I'm pretty sure the only courses you can take while not in engineering are the math, chem and physics courses (if even physics...). I can try to look more into this for you if you'd like.
i honestly want to tranfer because i changed my thinking and i find it would be best if i went into engineering plus i have ideas that would possibly be useful in research in the future, i dont really want to become that guy who works contracts or trades all his days for his money, i want to be the guy that one day trades his ideas for his money, i want freedom at the cost of six years or soo of school lol
