did you find the math 1k03 and math 1mo3 difficult?
i'm not a fantasticccc math person, but i'm decent enough yet i'm just worried that i won't do well in it since it's not one of my top subjects.

I found math 1k03 fair. The tests were fairly hard, but I did really well (90's) on the assignments, so that bumped up my grade.

I did however find 1m03 very hard. I am also not a math person. For me to succeed in math I need A LOT of time to practice and learn it, which I did not have. My big problem was doing well on the tests (which there were five), so my grade sucked. Also, I did not find my TA very helpful. However, LOTS of people found it quite easy.

It seems as though all of your first years (well, minus a few that I remember at least) missed the contest we (the Frontline staff) were running for first year students.

However, we'd still LOVE to aquire some more contributers for our upcoming issues throughout the year! Join the facebook group: http://mcmaster.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2229246413

Are you sure about that?
I've read that you need Math 1M03 to get into Honours Psych. http://registrar.mcmaster.ca/CALENDA...07/sec_715.htm

You wont have to take Calculus after first year. You will have to take two stats courses in second year (2RA3 and 2RB3) but no more calculus after 1M03 or 1A03.

Psych Society
Hey everyone!!

Just so you know, PSYCH SOCIETY is having their general meeting on Mon Sept 24 at 5:30pm in the psych lounge (which is located on the second floor of the psych building). There will be food and drinks, we'll be doing year rep elections, and so on. Also, are you thinking about graduate school? If so, Adler School of Professional Psychology is having an info session this Tues Sept 19 from 4-6pm in the psych lounge. I look forward to seeing some of you out there!!
