Okay so long story short, i just finished commerce 1 i ended up failing two required courses. I failed math 1f03 which i retook in the summer first term but then i failed math ils3 which i took in the summer second term before my second year which wouldve been the equivalent to the math 1m03 requirement.
However, my gpa is still above a 5 because i did really well in all my other courses. But the requirement for commerce 2 is that you cant fail any more than 2 required courses.

i was wondering, what are my options now? can i apply for reinstatement or special permission to stay in the program? can i shadow commerce 2? is there any way to still graduate with commerce in this situation?in terms of reinstatment, i heard if u have a 7 gpa u can get back into commerce and i think i can do that if i take economic courses my second year but do they even allow you to re enter commerce if u fail two first year required courses? i do have a medical condition which might help if i can apply for reinstatement.

Please help me as i am in a really messy situation and im stressing.

As far as I know, if you're GPA is above 2.9, you can stay and continue studying.
I recommend you to talk to an academic advisor from your faculty.

Don't go on in commerce if you failed first year calc twice.
