How do you buy a pass? And does it cost extra for photos with people?

Tickets for tomorrow are $35 at the door, or $59 for Saturday and Sunday. It's pretty steep, but since Amano doesn't leave Japan much, let alone do public signings, it's probably worth the weekend pass.

I've also decided to go on both Saturday and Sunday.

Some (most?) celebrities are charging for photo ops and signings, but they'll be professionally done from what I wrote. You can take pictures of the celebs with your own camera, but not with you in them/they won't pose.

I'll be the late replier to this thread :3 I went but FanEx did not win much this year. Previous years were definitely better. Depending on whether they switch back the location and make improvements to their organization I'll return next year. Otherwise, I'm just going to hotel party and have bar/pub hangouts with friends.

I had a great time though. Much money was spent, but only because I don't think properly when celebrities are around. No regrets though, as meeting the people behind the characters (Felicia Day, Summer Glau), voices and Power Rangers costume (Johnny Yong Bosch), and art (Yoshitaka Amano) is an experience that's hard to match.

It did seem terribly organized, but I can't hate since I was one of those people they shouldn't have let in on Saturday afternoon. I missed some panels, but had a good time overall.

...So you'll be in the general vicinity when it's going on, but partying elsewhere just to spite them? =p
