GPA Calculator and Converter
I decided to make a really simple and small GPA Calculator and Converter. See the attachment.
You are entering the number of credits the course is worth which is located at the end of the course code. For example, if the course code is 1A03 then the course is worth 3 credits.

I think that most of the people who wants to convert into the 4.0 scale is probably doing it for either med or other professional schools. Anyways med school uses the OMSAS gpa grading system (at least in Ontario) so our 11 is actually a 3.9 D=

Its not really to calculate your overall GPA, more like your course average.

Is it really that hard to multiply a set of grades by their corresponding percent-worth, and then divide by a total?

You mean the 4.0 GPA system right? I agree, not just because of requirements, but because it's pretty much universal :\

Depends on the school, some only look at your last two years, some look at your best two years, some look at just your last year, etc... All schools will have this information posted on their website.
