I've been working with a professor over the summer and he wants me to take his fourth year course for which I need a course permission to register in.
He doesn't know what he's supposed to do in order to get me a course permission so that I can register in SOLAR, and neither do I.
Any ideas on what he needs to do so that I can register in that course?

how about seeing your faculty office?
Or going to the faculty website, there are usually forms online as well.

Er, yeah. He needs to talk to the Faculty administrator about that most likely. It's all dealt with through the Faculty, so he's best off to start there.

yea, I believe they clear it with the department head and then send the word to UTS... just make sure your prof has your student number so they can change it.

I don't know how does it work exactly in each faculty but in engineering I first talked to the advisor and she told me to fill a form and ask the professor to sign it. I was able to add the course in solar the next day.
