I say that after seeing the strong turnout of Kin students at MSU GA in March who didn't want to lose their SRA Kin Seats, one of the main reasons provided to remove the kin caucus and amalgamate it into Science/SocSci is the chronic historic lack of interest in SRA and seats being unfilled or acclaimed. Kin reps have just as equal a one vote that makes major decisions that affect the entire student body, so its only fair that at least more than two candidates contest these elections.
