League of Legends (LoL) Tournament

McMaster League of Legends Tournament (Open registration for all of Ontario)
Due to popularity of LoL at McMaster, the MLC is offering a pay to play and the prizes will be divided up as follow:

1st Place: 50% of entry fees
2nd Place: 30% of entry fees
3rd Place: 20% of entry fees

We are charging $5/person ($25/team) (hopefully a total prize pool of $200+)
You can register as an individual or as a team

We are looking for 6-10 teams. If we get less than six we will do a complete round robin, otherwise:

the 6-10 teams will be split into two groups, these groups will play round robin.

This provides a seeding of each group: ties are broken by total match duration (sum of total time played in each game).

Playoffs then begin matching top teams in each group 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 for to rank everyone from first to last.

When: Saturday November 26th, 9:30AM-Midnight

Requirements: Bring your own computer, we will provide the networking!
Be on time: registration starts at 9:30, if you aren't registered by 10:00 you will not be able to participate.

Players do NOT have to be McMaster Students
All players MUST be present at the LAN event (no online ringers not physically in the room the day of the tournament)

Individuals:
Individuals must email me:

Student number
Individual skill 0-10 (10 being high skill, 0 being low skill)

Teams:
Team captain must email me:
Team name
List of names
List of student numbers
Team skill level 0-10 (10 being high skill, 0 being low skill)

Those who do not Play LoL there will also be other games going on during a normal LAN party

ie. SC2, Dota2 (if you have it), HoN, DotA, TF2 CS 1.6 etc.

This is a LAN event so all members must be present on the date of the event in the room of the event (MDCL 1102).

It is open to all of Ontario, that is to say you do not have to be a mac student.

This is a first come first serve basis. Teams must register to the maclanclubregister@gmail.com before the start of the tournament to maintain a spot. We give preferential teams who register before the day of, as they reserve their spot by showing their commitment.

Two things, Firstly It would be nice to have notification prior to 48 hours before the event and secondly I am still looking for people to play on McMasters IvyLOL team. Message SilentRuler for more info.

Hey Guys, My name is Blake and I'm the league of legends coordinator for the new McMaster Esports Club. As it stands I'm looking for people to League competitively on a weekly basis and represent McMaster at a collegiate level on McMaster's IvyLOL team.
