Ministry of Transportation in Toronto is looking for 5 summer students:
Are you interested in demonstrating your organizational skills and learning about the Economics and Transportation I and IT Cluster`s exciting, leading edge technology environment.
Then consider summer employment with the Road User Safety Solutions Branch of the Economics and Transportation I and IT Cluster. This will be an opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and skills and gain experience in a government office environment.
Your duties will include providing assistance to the Management staff within the office in finding efficiencies within the three offices (Enterprise Solutions Office, Solutions Engineering Office and the Solutions Portfolio Management Office) and conducting research to support the analysis of business impacts related to new and changing programs, projects and portfolios.
Qualifications:superior knowledge of MS Office Software programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Visio); good organizational, analytical and research skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of administrative and clerical support practices; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligible candidates must be students in a secondary school, college or university and be eligible to work in Canada. Students that are finishing their final year at school are eligible to apply for a period of six months following the completion of the requirements for graduation from an educational institution.
Note: Hours of work will be 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday.
