Yeah, I got early acceptance in February as well. Most people I know who got into Humanities or Soc Sci got accepted around that time.
I got in with around an 85, but as long as you have at least an 80 average you're pretty much guaranteed in.

Don't you have to apply for early acceptance? I don't remember, it was much too long ago.

I got my acceptance sometime in June, and I think my average was about 77%.

I received mine in early March. I remember freaking out because some of my friends has already been accepted and I hadn't. ahah I remember this guy who was telling me that he got rejected, and I asked if you really get tiny envolopes when that happens. He said, "don't you remember when you were rejected? Or when any of your friends were rejected?" I was like, "none of us got rejected..." AWKWARD.

No I wasn't. I apologize if it seemed that way. Just trying to help the person that asked the question.

Actually we're talking high school, and I took sciences.
I don't think humanities/soc sci is any easier than science, it all depends where your strengths lie.
And I don't see why anyone even cares enough to comment - it was only high school. We all came from different high schools with, I'm sure, very different grading systems. So please, everyone, lets just give it a rest and post comments that actually answer the original question.

I'd think a 95 in engineering would be easier to attain than a 95 in humanities. Yes, you have a lot of work in eng & yes, your profs hate you and try to ruin you on tests. However, if you know your stuff inside-out, a 12 average is more than possible. Can't say the same for humanities.

Nothin wrong with that, just how you said it seemed kind of irrelevant to say, considering people were getting accepted at 80s, LOL
