Marauder Football Tickets on sale

With the countdown on before another exciting season of Marauder Football, McMaster’s Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that both season and single game tickets are now on sale for the 2011 OUA season.

The Marauder home schedule promises tremendous entertainment value from the players on the field and McMaster Athletics will be working to make the Ron Joyce Stadium experience one of the best in Canadian Interuniversity Sport. Every home game will have a special theme with promotions and community partners on board to guarantee a big event.

Saturday, Sept. 10 vs. Western **HOME OPENER** It`s against the defending OUA champs so get your tickets in advance as a sell-out is expected for this early marquee match-up.

Saturday, Oct. 1 vs. Waterloo **HOMECOMING** Past and present come together to celebrate Maroon excellence.

Thursday, Oct. 6 vs. Toronto **UNITED WAY CHALLENGE** The Marauders will go under the lights for a rare night game and in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, McMaster has partnered with the United Way of Greater Hamilton and Burlington to create a special event.

Saturday, Oct. 22- vs. Ottawa **HAMILTON MINOR FOOTBALL DAY** Football is a big part of the fabric of Hamilton and McMaster Athletics will host the grassroots in partnership with minor football organizations across greater Hamilton.

Marauder 2011 football tickets can be ordered by phone at 905-525-9140, ext. 20353, online at www.marauders.ca or in person at the David Braley Centre Business Office located in the lobby of the Braley Centre. New season seat packages are available, with single game tickets starting as low as $ 15 and student tickets for $5.

Enjoy one of the best sports entertainment values in Hamilton.

Are tickets for the Home Opener game still available? I tried to purchase two student tickets online and the general seating tickets are coming up as $15... Are they not $5 for this game?

EDIT: Nevermind, $5 at the door, $15 in advance!

You cannot purchase student tickets online. We had to pull the tickets from Compass a couple of days ago because we were sold out. We have added 1000 extra seats now and Compass will have tickets for a new section in the stadium starting tomorrow morning.

I would not count on getting tickets at the game. I'd buy them in advance to be safe. Almost all General Admissions are sold out, but there are still a few reserved- just a little more pricey!

It doesn't matter what time you go.
I went once at the end of the 3rd quarter and I still got in. At that point they were't even checking the tickets anymore.

Just a heads up that tickets are sold out, there will be a very limited number on sale at the box office on game day. It opens at 11am.

7000 people can't be wrong!

see ya at the game!
