McMaster Fridge Policy?
Quite a few of the old threads here mention buying and bringing your own mini-fridge to residence and putting two fridges in one room.
According to McMaster's Refrigerator Policy: http://housing.mcmaster.ca/Residence..._policy.h tml
however, you're not allowed to do either of those things.
So does McMaster not enforce its own policy or has the policy changed so that you can't bring your own refrigerators any more?

It's changed. You have to rent a fridge online from Coldex. You have it delivered to you a few days after you move in.

The policy came into effect either last year or this year. What you could do is wait a few weeks after move in and bring a fridge and be all incognito about it. If a CA ever knocks on your door throw a dining cloth over it and bam! you have yourself a table.

Yeah they forced us to rent fridges from Coldex. Though I'm pretty sure they provide fridges if you're in a triple.

Yeah, you have to rent a fridge now unfortunately. Like someone else mentioned, sneak in a fridge after a few weeks. I don't think it's necessary to hid it, since I don't think CA know if you rented a fridge or not.

They do, however, know what the Coldex ones look like.
