Hi, I want to try out for the Mac tennis team but I won't be in the country during the month of August. Does anybody know approximately when the tryouts for the tennis team will be held?

If no one answers in the next 8 hours, contact McMaster. Ask for the Tennis coach and inquire with them. You should also research who the coach is because the operator probably won't know.

tryouts is September 8th, 5-6PM in DBAC-WB111 for men and DBAC-112 for women.

Does anyone know how good of player you need to be to be on the tennis team?
I'm an intermediate player.

Yes I would like to know too. Anyone know someone or had experience being on the team and can describe general level of tennis needed. Also is tryout day actually try out (bring racket) or just info session?

Men's Coach - Rasim Sehovic. No contact information, but try calling McMaster and asking for him.
Women's Coach - Peter Patiakas. Again, no contact information but try calling McMaster and asking for him.

Yeah I think I'll just show up and make a fool of myself.
I'll be fun/embarrassing, but you have to take a leap of faith right?

Also I think it might be an info. and try-out session. It's probably only 1 hour long
because that's the maximum amount of time you can book the tennis courts in DBAC for,
so the coaches should try to use all of the time efficiently.

Also wondering if today is just a info session. I forgot my racquet at home when I moved up two days ago, hopefully there will be some loaner racquets there if it is a tryout, but I may just buy a new one today

Also I've been playing for about seven years, hopefully the competition isn't crazier than that today.

You should speak to douglas ho (assistant coach) to get the tryout form. Tryouts are this thursday and friday from 4:30 to 7pm at Stoney Creek Tennis Club. Directions to the club are on the tryout form.
