Meal Plan
How does the meal plan work? I have Group A Large and there's like $2300 BASIC and $800 FLEX. I know that basic is for on-campus but how many meals is that? Do we just go anytime we want and swipe our student ID? also is there like a certain number of meals that we can swipe our ID card with?

You basically buy what you want when you want it. There is no limitation unless of course you run out of money. Just go to the different stores and restaurants on campus and buy whatever you feel like.

Yep, that's exactly it, the Freedom/Flex accounts are used for off-campus areas, like Boston Pizza, as well as on campus grocery stores like the one in Keyes.

wow! I didn't know Group A Large had a Freedom amount already! I was beginning to feel sad
shouldn't we transfer all of the Freedom money to FLEX since using FLEX doesn't incur taxes?

Haha . All the meal plans, have a standard amount of 1975 or something, and the rest is all Flex/Freedom
I had a similar question, are the flex/freedom used interchangeably, or do you have to transfer it online like Afzal said?

Anyone been able to log on to the mac express thing yet? I'm not sure if it's too early to get on but I have tried a few times and it just says wrong account.

Hmmm, maybe they haven't set it up yet... You've paid your fees right?

Yeah everything is all paid. Will I still be able to use my student card to buy food on campus without setting it up on mac express? and also do we need the pin that we use on their when we buy things with the card or do we only have to swipe the card?

You should be able to use it. I doubt that most people have ever checked out their account online. As long as there is money on the card, you're fine. When you use it, you only swipe. No pin required.
