OSAP - Missing Money?
Okay so I just checked my bank account today and about half of my OSAP is missing. No don't tell me I get 60% now and 40% later. I'm taking about my 60% - my remit amount for my tuition and then after that, I'm missing half of what I'm suppose to have. Anyone experience this before? I'm gonna call SFAS tomorrow but I just want to see if this has happened to anyone in the past or is happening right now

Both me and my friend are missing part of our money too. I'd wait until after Thursday, since that's when we were supposed to get it.

I'm having the same issue.
I think they'll eventually send us the rest of the amount sometime this week. This small, but crucial, deposit by OSAP could've been made so that students can pay off time-sensitive bills like your rent, book costs etc etc

I think that the above statement about not all of the OSAP money being released is probably true. On my account, it says I received money from "Canada GSL", which I think is grant-money. I can't say for sure, though......financial matters hurt my brain.

Yeah same thing happened to me, I was missing about a grand that I was supposed to get, but a couple days later the rest was deposited under a different name... one said CANADA and one said ONTARIO
so I would wait a few days and see if you get it then

My OSAP funding suddenly decreased by $1000 a couple days ago...So I'm going to ask the Financial Aid office about that.

What do you mean exactly? Did you select to pay your tuition in full? Or in parts?
My friend paid in full, and most of her 60% went to pay tuition - but she still had some money left over. Perhaps that's what happened to you? Which is supposed to be the norm.

no i am on the osap plan and i picked up 60% of my osap and then payed it all to uni (like immediately i did not get it to my account) and on my student account it shows that only some of the money is paid so I am supposed to get 7200 they only paid 6800 ... :(

It will probably come in two payments and the rest should go towards it within the next couple of days
