I tried to join a couple years ago, never heard back from them... Can't remember what their website was, but they did have one that's not listed on the MSU page

I just shot them an email. Hopefully I hear back, it would be awesome if I could learn how to develop and print off films.

Very much alive, there's events (tutorials, photo walks, etc.) at least a few times every month, and the dark room is always available as well.

The email address you have is also valid I believe, at least the name is right (Eric Coomes), so as long as he still uses his Gmail, then he'll reply to you shortly.

Arm&hammer, mikefung all say thanks to Andrew A for this post.

Wow I am at Mac for almost 4 years and I didn't know we have a working photography club. I sent them application when I was first year and never got back. Good to know about it.

Signed up for macinsiders because of this post!

I'm the President of Mac Photo, so yes the photography club on campus is up and running as an active club. For a number of people who had trouble finding this club in their first few years at McMaster, the club disbanded a few years back due to a lack of execs...I know I couldn't find a photo club in my 1st year at Mac. Last year we started it back up again.

Anyways, we have a very active group of photographers on campus. As a club we run bimonthly tutorials, as well as guided photo trips. We have an equipment rental program where members can rent out Canon, Nikon and Film equipment for free! As well, we have a stocked dark room on campus for members (training is available). We have a competition/gallery coming up next month which is available to everyone.

If you're interested join our facebook group "McMaster Photo Club" which someone posted above to stay up to date about all of our events. If you have any questions about joining the club, shoot off an email to macphotoassoc@gmail.com . You could email my personal email which someone posted above, but it would be nice if you just emailed the club's account.
