A place to practise martial arts?
Hey guys, i wanted to know if there was a club that just met to train together and spare each other? I dont want to join a real team (i have to start light), but I want to practice martial arts. The problem is taht I want to do it in private, where people wont judge me (u know, oh sht this guy know kung fu, i bet he can beat up anybody! and then someone comes along and challenges me to a fight...). Also, I want this place to be where martial artists can learn from each other, be each other teachers. Does anyone know of such a club at mcmaster? Greatly appreciate it!

DBAC holds classes... I'd look into those!

Also, I doubt people would challenge you to fights because they have seen you at a martial arts club

heeyyy man i was looking for a place to go practise too, though the gym doesn't even have punching bags....im planning to talk to them to see if they can consider putting at least one up. and you shouldn't have to be afraid of what other ppl think!

they have quite a few martial arts program at the gym though its probably late to sign up now. next term maybe?
