You can bring instruments if you want. Just dont play them at like 7 am or at 2 in the morning. That drummer in bates did that was seriously annoying.

There are also cable outlets in other residences but I don't know if they are actually active. In either situation you have to rent cable from Cogeco.

Bates and Keyes come with cable free, while the other rez building you need to pay for it.

The first class is usually just an intro to the course so the profs will probably talk about the course outline, textbook, and other things of the sort.

Generally it's just course outlines and questions that first year have. I would recommend attending the first class.

You won't have homework to do or anything so you can still attend the welcome week events.

Is it really 10-15 minutes :S. I kinda thought it would be more, since it would include an introduction as well, or that doesn't happen?

Some profs like your chemistry profs will go through the whole intro thing..(Dr.Locke is awesome and will talk for ages, which is good)...my experience last year was a quick "hey there im your prof, this is your lab coordinator...heres the course out line and yeah..blah blah blah"..they may breeze through the outline but yeah...half hour max i would say
