Quarters New Name

We still have to pick a name for Quarters.
Please post your suggestions and what you like.
Please keep this to suggestions, and not to debate Quarters!

Personally I like spliting the name between the eating/drinking area and the club/dance floor.
For the club I like '1280' and the pub something like 'The Solomon Arms'

To be honest, I'm still confused as to why the name is changing in the first place.

What did the name Quarters have to do with it being run poorly?

I agree with Greg. I was going to say the same thing. The name and the way the service was run are different things. I think the name is fine. As long as the new place looks better, the food is better and the waitresses learn how to serve I'll be happy. The name should stay. Perhaps design a new logo?

joe i hate to be the one to break it to you but the quarters working group, ratified by the sra to select the name, is meeting tomorrow to finalize the name. i appreciate the efforts you are undertaking, but i worry that it might be counterproductive to start with new names as opposed to polling students about the names that are on the table already.

"1280" would be pretty sweet. Simple, not too flashy.

A new name would probably provide an even fresher image to our campus bar/pub/club/restaurant.

Sticking with 'Quarters' wouldn't be horrible though. Any reason why it was called that in the first place? What's the history behind it?
