- Health Sci Library is actually the quietest library on campus, if you can handle the aura of arrogance that surrounds it like a thick fog
- It's called COMMONS, not CENTRO, KAY?
- Thode 2F is actually great for gaming when your internet at home is capped out, if you can get a cubby or a corner/window seat

Ugh I hate it for that reason. It's like you walk in there and you feel everyone's eyes on you... which is ridiculous becasue you'd have to be very self-involved to think that EVERYONE is looking at YOU, but still. It's like a secret club library or something. I think that if you're going to be snobby about the fact that you use the health sci library, you should not be allowed to use the computers in Mills.

But what would this school be without the academic hierarchy
Mills is like an orphanage, in that they take everyone.

In that respect, are you saying that health sci students are better than everyone else? I highly doubt that they are. I'd go with competition, not hierarchy. Healthy competiton is good. A little bit if program rivalry.

I don't think you understood. It was sarcasm.
For some people, however, it is viewed as a hierarchy. I personaly don't give a damn what anyone is studying, the fact that they made it this far is good enough.

I agree with you; sorry I missed the sarcasm. I'm a bit out of practice wth that which is actually sad because I am normally exceptionally sarcastic. But it is true, you've gotta admit, some people definitely think their program is better than others. I have a friend in health sci who often tells me how much harder her program is than mine and how much more difficult it was to get into it than mine was. Well, I'm guessing that she wouldn't have done too well getting in my program either. It depends on your strengths and weaknesses. But some people really do think they're better for being in a certain program.

I have nothing against health sci library except its design...having to go up the stairs to get in and then go down again to get into the study areas. You really couldn't make a hole in the wall on the first floor for a door? :S

Nope. That would be too convenient.
