Social Sciences or Humanities?
Hey everyone! So i got into Social Sciences and Humanities at Mac (Yay!) and i have no idea which program i should choose. I can't seem to make up my mind and i'm afraid i'll make the wrong choice. For second year i wanted to major in Justice, Political Philosophy and Law with a specialized minor in commerce or i was thinking of majoring in Political Science. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Whether you start in Humanities or Social Science doesn't actually matter. It's easy to switch in to any major within the two faculties after your first year. There is no transfer process, you just apply to the program you want after 2nd year.

Judging by the majors you say you have an interest in, you're probably going to get more out of social science. I'd say you should take a look at the programs you like, look at their courses' first year pre-requisites, and see if going into Humanities 1 is going to make it difficult for you to grab all the first-year pre-reqs for what you'd like to go into later. E.g., looks like you're going to want 1st year economics (for commerce) and polisci. And if you want justice & law you'll get some nice background from 1st year sociology. Also, taking commerce means you need maths, intro accounting, and so on.

The Humanities Course List 1 & 2 classes look like a waste of time for your stated interests, except maybe History 1EE3.
