I still don't get it. I'm switching into Soc. Sci., but on SOLAR, it says it opens on the 14th, which is the Science date.

Oh...nvm...I just got it. I have a mix of two faculties in my majors. That makes sense now.

Try on that day; if you don't get through, try on the Soc Sci day.

SOLAR reopens on august 11th if you are fully registered and have accepted the payment agreement. It doesn't reopen before this because they are sectioning.

Is there a reason why I can select first year history courses on solar, but first year classics courses are all automatically full?

Are you trying to choose a history course that is cross-listed with a classics course and it is allowing you to do so, or are they different courses?

Sometimes when you're trying to choose a lower level course like first or whatever it shows up as full because they are reserving the spots for first year students. For example if you've already gotten into SOLAR for registration you're in 4th year presumably so all the seats for upper years to use as electives might be full at the moment and the rest are reserved for first years. When Solar re-opens for all students you might be able to get into the course.

Yup! That's frustrating but understandable -- so make sure to have a few back up classes you think you might want to take.

So on Aug. 11 we get to choose our core, lab, and tutorial sections? I thought we do that now from what I remember last year. Little confused lol.
EDIT: nvm...

Can students with conditional offers expect same times and procedures?
