anybody here commuting from Streetsville? did you have to buy two separate GO passes (streetsville to sq 1, sq 1 to mac) or does one pass cover the whole trip? I asked the people at the GO station, but they had no clue.

I believe you'll need two passes (streetsville to sq 1 and sq 1 to mac) because sq1 and streetsville are in different fare zones. You can also use mississauga transit to get to sq 1, but that will probably take longer.

I'm pretty sure you just need one pass. And when you get to Sq one from Streetsville, you tell the driver you're transferring from Streetsville and he'll let you on the Sq One to Mac bus with the same pass.

I would have thought two passes, because the destination and ending place is indicated. But what Harlequin90 said makes sense too.
can i use the streetsville pass to mac... even though I use it from square one only?
You have to look at the zones.
Streetsville = 21
Square One = 20
Wow, that is odd how it's cheaper. But yes, it means you can use the one from Streetsville at Square One. Hamilton to Streetsville is 18-21 meaning you can be on the train anywhere between zone 18 and 21.
If you want good seats on the bus, really - get up early. At 7:00 AM or when you're running to catch it at 8:12 AM, you'll get the best seats possible. I love sitting in the back of the bus and almost always have and if you have heavier bags you can put them on different seats (as everyone does at that time) without disturbing each other. And the bus ride and the beautiful scenery keep you awake and you reach Hamilton more refreshed, I've found. I only fell asleep once on the GO Bus during my trips to Mac and that was because I ran like I had diarrhea (I didn't.) from building to building trying to catch the Bus. (I always walk to the wrong side of campus).
I understand that we tend to want certain things in life but we cannot always get them by just crossing our fingers.
I want to get good grades so I'm picking early morning classes; this way I'm forced to wake up early and get good sleep the night before and I'll avoid sleeping in to miss a lecture as I might do if my timings were later, and I'm stuck in an academic environment and will have more incentive to work.
Nothing comes easily.
Being able to move here from Dubai and still lead a privileged life is a real blessing but other people should not have to suffer for your comforts. Some of us can't pay rent, others can't afford food. Unless there's a disability involved, the dog shouldn't be on the damn bus anyway. And if the guys are creepy, sit in front beside the driver.
