That's going to be tricky. Your vacation falls in the middle of the first term so you'll have assignments due and maybe even a midterm. You won't be able to defer a midterm for a vacation.

It's also important to consider how much material you'll be missing. 1G06 is a pretty dense course and losing 6+ hours of material is a lot. You can chance it but make sure you have some one who will give you notes.

Check the course outline as soon as it becomes available before enrolling. If you have a midterm during your vacation it might be a deal breaker.

does anyone know if i can take 3 courses in one term of summer? (Not the entire summer but like 3 courses in term 1)

If you want to take more than 6 units in a term or more than 12 units in the whole summer session you have to get permission from your Associate Dean.
