anyone know is the MATH 1A03 textbook/pakage was useful? cuz im hearing very mixed reviews about them :O

I think it depends on your comfort with math. Some people will take Math 1A03 knowing everything in the course, others will have to rely on the the textbook for practice questions.

So if u get biological science vol#1 and 2 with study guide to writing do u still need BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE (VOL # 1)( WITH SHORT GUIDE TO WRITING- this for bio 1a03 even though its required

Nope, the package is all you need for both courses. They don't actually check if you buy the books, that's your responsibility.

it helps to do many practice problems so i'd say its useful
it was to me.
if you are strong in math you might not need it tho.

Advanced Engineering Mathematics Zill
I wouldn't buy Advanced Engineering Mathematics by Zill if I were tight on money, since the whole book is available on google books. Only problem with this is that you have to go page by page starting from page 1 everytime. Free things come at a cost :S
