I think I heard it was 30 students last year. Definitely the crappiest server ever. I hope when I try this year it doesn't do that stupid thing where it crashes when I try to save everything...

So I have the best story every.
Okay, not really but it makes the whole SOLAR thing even more frustrating.
So at 3:30AM I woke up and went to see if I could get on SOLAR. I couldn't get on my internet; it wouldn't connect. Attempted everything I could to fix it, gave up around 4:45AM
Woke up at 5:55AM once again realized internet was not working. Tried to add a hard line to my laptop, steal internet from neighbours, etc.
6:25 call Bell to figure out WTF is up. It turns out there is NO SERVICE IN MY AREA. Go back to bed.
Woke up at 11:10. Internet is working (obviously) but I can't get into MUGSI.
ugh.

Okay, so I got on...and picked 60% of my course load.
I don't apparently have the prereqs for both of my seminars, a course I need to graduate doesn't exist, and I'm for some reason lacking another prereq for one of my ISP classes.
funny this is I have all the prereqs, and I know the prof teaching the course I need.
ugh wtf

I can't register for a few of my courses too due to prereqs error (even though I have the prereqs).

Sometimes it makes me happy that Science is picking last and that I'm going into second year. I really hope they get all the bugs sorted out. Leave it to Mac to be completely inprepared for their own course selection that they scheduled themselves.

I didn't get on until 3 am last night. And the course that I was most excited to get into was full-- by day 2!!! WTF
Honestly, I NEED that Health Science course. If you're enrolled in Health Science 3L03 or Health Studies 3E03 I would greatly appreciate it if you could surrender your seat. Bioethics is my life. I hate when people take courses for the sake of it rather than for the absolute love of it because it screws people like me over.

more spots will open up this thursday at midnight for that course. they open up few spots for 4th years (so since health scis registered before you, I guess they signed up) but it's not a priority course for 3rd year hth scis so if you get on that night then you should find that more seats have opened up!

I'm so excited for June 19th, when I get to pick courses. I can't wait to put a hole through my wall. I just hope the 4th year courses I want to take aren't filled up. :(

That's why I absolutely love my program/specialty when it comes to course selection. I have like one elective per year and most of my mandatory courses have one core and lab, so I pretty much know how my schedule will look like (with the exception of the odd random tutorial) before the timetable release.
