Its fine that you didn't like your welcome week or didn't find the macpass worth it. You can share that opinion and state your reasoning but be mature about it.

Many events don't require a macpass, but the ones that do are the ones that are residence based which means it gives you the opportunity to meet the people you have to live with for the next 8 months and hopefully become friends. Besides, you may not believe it now but it really is a lot of fun for most people. If you insist on a refund, talk to the First Year Experience Office.

Our MacPass sales don't contribute to Peter Georges salary!

I highly advise first years to get a MacPass because it opens doors. Plus you get a bunch of cool stuff YOU WILL use in your years at Mac. I still have my residence and faculty shirts that I wear. Plus some of the other Swag that they give you do come in handy. Plus it reminds you of first year and all the great times you had!
We've gone over the advantages of the MacPass many times, be sure to check out our other forum posts and articles. The pass is highly recommended for those in residence as you'll want your res shirt and attend all the res events. Those wanting to participate in Faculty Day and Faculty Night (two events we highly recommend as well) you need the pass. You also need it for SOCS events.
