Workout Gym
Hey,
So I have no knowledge about anything to do with the workout gym. it's called the Pulse so I hear. How do I register? I thought it was free for students (says the website), and when is it open? Can I just walk in with my card and workout anytime?
As well, I understand there is some type of lottery for lockers....has that already happened?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your tuition doesn't cover the Pulse. Pulse is the area where all the fitness equipment are.
You'll need to complete a waiver, but you can buy a membership online or line up during their office hours.

There's more than just lifting weights! Upstairs there's treadmills, elipticals, other weird cardio stuff

Thank you! I work at a gymnastics gym in Burlington and am usually doing odd body exercises there (trampoline, flips, etc.) that work your core and legs. I've been lifting freeweights over the summer and hope to continue all exercises. My wednesdays are free from 10 am until 4:20 pm and hope to hit the gym in those times at some point!

The track is free.
It's better than machines.

There are shower facilities in the athletic centre. You don't have to have a pulse membership to use it.

I'm wondering if the classes that you take require an extra fee even if you have pulse membership.. In the booklet last year they didn't mention much about fees, just having a membership.
