Dr. Daniel McLean - mainly Greek literature courses, but especially 1Z03 and 1ZZ3. Quite possibly one of the funniest men alive, and a solid mentsch.

Dr. Spencer Pope - Classics 1A03 and upper-year Classical Archaeology classes. A close second to Indiana Jones.

Dr. Bryan Cummins - Anthropology 1A03. Hilariously cynical and extremely approachable. He also has an incredible amount of funny anecdotes from living in different cultures.

Dr. Barry Allen: Various philosophy courses, his lectures are like story time and just suck you in
Dr. Kim: Intropsych, funny and approachable guy who really knows his stuff if you ask questions

^^I agree, Dr Kim is really good as well. The online lectures might give the impression that he's monotonous, but that's just because it's so choreographed. His live lectures are awesome, I actually used to nap before I went so I would be fully 'there', I never bothered for any other class

- Dr. Daniel McLean
If anyone has a chance to take this course, please do. First, the subject matter (Greek and Roman Mythology) is incredibly interesting and there's a great reading list. Second, your mark is based on: (a) showing up to tutorial and talking (b) a really easy midterm (one of the multiple choice options was "popcorn") (c) a short essay (d) a final exam. Finally, Dr. McLean is great, largely in part to his dry sense of humour and sarcastic wit:
- One his of essay tips was something like, "do not dare do this unless you should wish to completely insult the English language as a whole and everyone who has contributed to it."
- When discussing the story in which Cronus castrates Heaven, he put "large phallic object (picture of that giant stack at McMaster) + sharp point thing (picture of a machete) = :(".
- He'd always find a way to bring up popular culture, especially Family Guy.
Also, he'd often bring his dog to class, a little Jack Russell terrier. Pretty lolz.

i really liked dr. dushoff and dr. kaijura, i found them both easy to understand and follow in lectures. Also, dr. dushoff had funny gestures, a bonus to watch. I like dr. stocke for chemistry too.

Hey I am writing a series of articles on first year at mac and if any of the second years wanted me to include certain topics regarding first year other than the ones already being covered please comment You can check it out, click here . Hope you all like it

Dr. Day - AMAZING! His lectures are very interesting and will always keep you paying attention. He just lectures really well and seems to genuinely care about what he's talking about. I took Personality (Pysch 2B03) with him last year and will be taking Positive Psychology (Psych 3BA3) with him this year (he teaches others as well).

Dr. Dej - She's such a sweetheart. She really cares about her students and does whatever she can to make sure they'll do well. She's very fair when it comes to testing and approachable if there is something you don't understand. I took Cell Bio (Biology 2B03) and Genetics (Biology 2C03) with her last year, but she teaches other Life Sciences and Biology courses.

Dr. Adamson was great. I really liked his enthusiasm about the material and he has a good sense of humour. I really enjoyed taking English 1AA3 with him.

Dr. Carter for anthro. Calls everything sexy, wears a white shirt and tie untucked with jeans, had a cat with a pink boa as a background. What more can I say?
