1 BR_2person Apt
This is what I got for next year.
I was just wondering if, just like the other apartment styles,
the sink, toilet and shower we're all seperated?
Because that's kind of awkward :S

AND. do you know anybody who has turned their living room into another bedroom?
How has that worked out?

thanks

You should post in your residence forum here on MI, or I can move this thread to the proper forum for you.

i've lived in a 1 br apt with 2 ppl. making the living room into a bedroom was a bit weird. first of all, while it started out okay in the beginning, some jealousy issues did start to crop up because the living room doesn't provide the same privacy as a bedroom. also, there is no place for that person to go that's just their own space. i've lived in MANY MANY apartments and i'm not sure what you mean by the toilet, sink and shower all being separate. 1 brs come in all different shapes and sizes. i've had some where it's like a long hallway with all of the rooms to one side. i've had some where the rooms are all around the edges like a square. i've had huge kitchens you can sit in as well as galley kitchens where i've ended up eating in the living room on the couch... but i've always had my bathroom as a complete single unit. usually as a combination tub/shower, a toilet and a small pedestal or suspended from wall (rarely cupboards underneath) sink. hope that helps
