Yeah, you'll get used to the abbreviations really fast. It's a good idea to sort of pay attention to building names and such when you're moving in and hanging out during welcome week. It's not THAT important, because you will get used to it in about the first week or two.

KTH is at the North end of the campus, BSB is sort of in the middle, and T-13 is way at the south. So it's a little painful to walk from KTH to T-13, but it's doable.

Campus pocket maps were key for me in my first year...go grab one from COMPASS or any of the residence service desks (they are in Keyes and under commons er I mean Centro now)...the map helps for the first week or so then you'll be super pro at campus navigation

I believe the campus maps have all the abbreviations on them as well.

It shouldn't really be a problem unless you're going from TSH/KTH to ABB or something like that, in which case you should speedwalk. I had time to stop and get food or go to the washroom between most of my classes, especially if one of them was in MDCL If your second class is full (and you have to rush to get seats) you can either get someone to save seats for you, or leave your first class early--just sit on an aisle. There are also short cuts through buildings that can save you lots of time! 10mins is more than enough time to get to most classes, so don't worry about putting classes back-to-back like that
