105 Applicants : Disadvantaged?
hi guys..
A very close friend of mine was in his first year at York university, and as you all know the university went on strike. Because of this he withdrew and applied to Mcmaster to the Social Science program using the 105 application instead of the 101 (which is what highschool students are required to take). He did this during the first week of February and he has been in the Mcmaster system (with all the requried information) as of February 27th. It is absolutly essential that he gets accepted to Mcmaster, for he lost everything when he withdrew from york (tution) and if he doesnt recieve acceptance he will be virtually uni-less :| . His average is 78.7% and the required average needed for admission is 75%-77%. Now I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback as to what you think his chances of getting accepted are? Also, does anyone know if the 101 application has a advantage over the 105 applicantion, or are the applications reviewed equally?
Anyy feedback will be extremely appreciated
thankss !!
