Hey Guys,
I had a really quick question.
For tutorials.. Bio1A03.. Bio1M03.. Chem.. etc.. There seems to be a huge list of tutorials/labs.. how do we pick them? Do I pick any random 3 .. since it's 3 hours of lab/tut for Bio1A03, for example? I'm still quite confused with the system.
Also, what do you guys recommend is the longest number of lectures to have right after each other. And would the 10 minutes of walking time be enough to get to most classes?
Thanks!

I think you just pick your courses during course selection and what semester they are offered in. Solar generates a timetable for you and then when SOLAR reopens, you can change around your tutorials and labs so you have a schedule you like. Max. for me is 3 lectures straight..
10 minutes is enough time except if you are like in CNH and have to haul ass all the way to ITB (or back.) I was always a few minutes late but cutting through the Mohawk building shaved a few minutes off...

Also, if you are in ITB and you need to get to BSB 147. Try to avoid that. Because BSB 147 will most likely be chem. The seats fill up fast and even while speed walking, and I speed walk pretty damn fast, I would have to sit in one of the back rows which sucks. I would end up leaving my physics class early in order to get a good seat.

I can't recall of any that didn't have one, so as I said they are probably looking into it.
They also need to hire TAs for all of the courses, and it is possible that the Anthro Department does not have a lot of grad students and are thus using undergrads as TAs again. The hiring for tutorials typically does not happen until August-ish, so sit tight.

Anyone else want it?

I looked at all of the CSCT/English courses and don't see Marc anywhere. :(. However there three I believe that currently are prof-less.

I took Anthro1A03 last semester but the evening class. We didn't have tutorials just the one 3-hour lecture each week. I spoke with a few of my friends who took Anthro1A03 during day and it seems like the day and evening section are completely different.

I don't think Anthro 1A03 has a day section anymore, I noticed it briefly before the official timetable came out. So you might want to check that to make sure.
I wouldn't be surprised, 1A03 was a complete bust last year.

I could not imagine that class (Anthro 1A03) being good at night. :S A course like that really needs a tutorial.

You use the MTT to make a mock timetable to ensure you can have a conflict free schedule.
It's only a mock schedule. You will get your actual schedule on August 11th and on August 13th you can change your sections to get the timetable you want (assuming there is space in the sections you want).

Yep! Like Jeremy said, you can use the Master Timetable to create a better timetabel that you want. FOr example, to eliminate 8:30 classes, have less breaks, etc. IF you don't like the timetable they send you. You can always keep the one that they provide/generate for you though!
