2nd Year Engineering Calculus Courses
FYI..some eng department websites haven't been updated with the new course codes for the 2009-2010 2nd year engineering calculus courses. The correct course codes are MATH 2Z03 (Engineering Math III) and MATH 2ZZ3 (Engineering Math IV).

Are the course codes the only thing that's changing, or is the material taught within the courses changing as well?

They weren't that different. Phys and elec did 2p04 and 2q04, and everyone else did 2m03 and 2mm3... but as far as I could tell the only difference was one more chapter at the end, and it wasn't even the hardest one.

There was a rumour that the split was b/c the prof teaching 2m03 and 2mm3 had a kid in elec, and it was a conflict of interest... Not sure how true that is, lol.

In order to get the true facts, you should email the Eng faculty directly, or go in to JHE A-214 and speak to someone. Because the undergraduate calendar for engineering has been drastically changed for most years and programs, a lot is still unclear. If I can speak to someone today, I will be updating you on 2nd year eng math asap.
