Using the GPA conversion chart, you're going to have to convert every individual mark to the GPA scale and then average those out to get your GPA average.

I think you will be happier just sticking to the 12 point scale since the conversion to 4.0 scale will look BAD... lol..

at first i thought ou meant 5.3 on the 4 point, like in the US if you take A in high school you can get a 5.0/4 . i was how the hell did you can 5.3
depending on what its for , the 12 point may favour you as most of NA uses 4.0

It may not translate to a 2.0 exactly. You have to take each final grade you have, convert it to the 4.0 scale, multiply it by the number of units for that course, add all of those up and divide by the total number of units.
Depending on what the individual grades of your courses are you may end up with a grade higher or lower than 2.0. I don't remember why but there's a thread about it somewhere on here.

wow some of you people are so rude, seriously why are you guys being so judgemental he could have had his reasons for getting a bad mark. or maybe he is asking for a friend? you guys are so quick to jump to conclusions and bully people. and by the way, bashing on someone the way you are doesn't make you any smarter either.

Would be dishonest to put a 4.0 GPA on your resume without mentioning that it's 4.0/12?
