What site you can go to in most systems (computers) are to some extent filtered and you can't actually visit some sites because of the firewall and parental controls blocking the actual addresses. You can get past these but then theres the issue of your activity being recored. Then theres the issue of whether an administrator (computer d00d who can be in a different building) is capable of actually seeing whats on your screen.
MacConnect is just wireless access, so I doubt any of these things apply. Sites can possibly(?) be tracked, but they probably don't care.
What I'd like to know is if you can be tracked on lab computers...
(I don't surf unseemly sites on campus because I have better things to do though) |
