The 2010 AGFA Healthcare Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for young minds to begin making their mark in the modern healthcare industry.

Students can work in teams of up to three members to answer a case question in one month beginning on October 5th, 2010. The case question will be related to a real-world problem in the field of Healthcare and Information Technology. Beginning November 5th, representatives from AGFA will review all the submissions and select five finalists. These final teams will be brought down to Waterloo to have the opportunity to meet with industry experts to prepare their final presentation.

The top team will get to choose between a AGFA Scholarship ($3000) or a paid Summer Job with AGFA . Secondary prizes include flights anywhere in North America and apple iPods, and guaranteed job interviews for all finalists!

You are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible especially if you do not have other team members yet.

There is also a "free agent" feature which will make the competition more accessible to students who are not sure who their team members will be. Competitors will be given the option of registering as a free agent to be invited by other students who are seeking additional team members.
