Has anyone gotten a hair cut from there before?
Any idea what the prices are like?

Thanks!

I went to two other barber/salons before heading to Albert Snow. It is by far the best salon I have been to in Hamilton. For a mens cut its about $30 with a student discount. I would highly recommend it.

$30 for a hair cut? thats ridiculous.

I could get a haircut in Toronto for $15 from a place like that.

hey I go there all the time, been going there for over 3 years now. It comes up to about $50-$55 for women with the student discount and tip. They're amazing there though, I love it there.

hair cuts here are pretty expensive. at home i get away with an 8$ hair cut (+ i tip so technically 10$) here i usually go to campus barber on main and its 20$ after students discount, which even though its better than the snow place, is still expensive.

^^ the one thing i do like about these guys is that its a classic Italian barber joint. and they use real blades to shave and do the trimmings on the sides and the back which feels amazing >< . they pretty pro haha i recommend them if your a guy that wants a cut/shave

If you just want the cut, i.e. no shampooing or styling, it's cheaper, I don't know the exact price though.

For really unique hair types or hair concerns, it's more beneficial to pay more sometimes. I save up for Donato's twice a year because they're the only stylists that cut my hair to tame it down (it's curly and I had a triangular downward afro as a child). Other stylists have left large chunks of my hair uncut because they forgot that it's curly and will curl as it you're working, leaving me with two entirely different lengths of hair. I've been to Snow to pick up a product or two and they're quite nice. They'll also order in what they don't have for you and seem quite committed to a long term customer base, though yes, they are a bit more expensive than most places.

I have only been there once and I love it, I will definitely be going there again. My hair was very long and I had it cut shorter with layers for about $45. They have free bang trims which is nice, and they had coupons for 20% off haircuts when I went.
