these are the courses i will be taking in my second year.

term 1: bio 2b03, bio 2f03, chem 2e03, psych 1x03, stats 2b03
term 2: bio 2a03, biochem 2ee3, life sci 2n03, psych 2ap3, physics 1b03

i will take the organic chem in the summer 2012, and maybe bio 2c03 then too..

i chose these courses to fulfil the requirements that i could for second year bio physio. some i cant due to program restrictions so i will take those hopefully in my 3rd year.

is the cut-off the same for applicants applying for 3rd year (9.3)?
What courses are you unable to take due to restrictions =/? All second year courses are pretty much available to anyone. Also, the cut-off changes from year to year based on the applicants and number of seats available at the time you're applying.

i cant take bio 2c03, or bio 2L03 because these are open to people in an honors program...i couldn't make into the hon programs because of not taking several required courses...anyhow, its gonna be BSc, and then hopefully transfer to honours in 3rd year

also i cant take kin courses ..
and thats pretty much it :S

hey i dont think u need to take biochem 2ee3 or chem 2e03 ( they would be a waste) u should take chem 20a3 and chem 20b3 they are required. also i dont know about psych 2ap3, i c that your taking psych 1x03 first term, then im asusming u havent taken 1xx3 yet, which u have to, so switch 2ap3 out for 1xx3.

so..
take out biochem 2ee3 and chem 2e03,
add in chem 20a3 and chem 20b3 (both required for physio)

take out psych 2ap3
add in psych 1xx3 ( EDIT: not required but good option to take and should be a mark booster compared to 2ap3)

as for 2c03 and 2l03 i think ull be able to take them in 3rd year if u manage to transfer in by then
..............

on a side note have previous physio ppl taken biocehm 2ee3? why do you take it is it a good precourse to biochem 3g03? should i be taking it?

Just want to point out that Psych 1XX3 isn't required, however if you don't have it (i don't), it can tend to limit what courses you can take off the course list in upper years.

take my spot
hey, from an earlier post someone wondered whether switching in for your 3rd year is doable, and it def is, seeing as I'm switching out of the program, as are a couple of my friends who were in it for 2nd yr. To be honest, you don't get much physio in second year, and what you do get (2A03) will really tell you if its the right fit for you. I like psych a lot more than i expected so i've switched into biopsych! goodluck 2nd yrs, its a tough year

Btw, would you happen to know the amount of people in Honours Biology Core?
Hey, there are apparently 80-90 people in bio core. Have you decided which one yet?

stats 2b03 is easy as long as you do the practice questions, no tricks.

is health sci 2a03 is the health sci stats course, my friends say its a joke, its really easy too but kinda don't learn much

since this is the only stats course you'll prolly take in uni, i think its good to actually learn something..
