Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has taken kin anatomy course online at Athabasca university. No more seats are opening up for 1y03 so I just wanted to know the how the online course is and if its worth taking. Please let me know, thanks.

hey, thanks for the website. I already visited it earlier and know all the basic info. I just wanted to know how the course is..how many lectures and how are the midterm and stuff..

I agree, I think it would be better just to Google it.

I didn't take the course at Athabasca, but I did take an online physiology course through U of T - SCS 2159 (basic human physiology). It was really straight forward.. 4 quizzes, 4, 40-50 min lectures a week, and one exam.
Mark breakdown:
Quizzes: 45%
Forum Participation: 5%
Exam: 50%
Quizzes were 20 multiple choice questions done on the website, and u were given 30 minutes to do them.
I did it over the summer and it wasn't too bad, but Athabasca's probably easier because you can go at your own pace. The one I took was designed as any other summer course (so it fit a year's worth of material into the 4 months)
