I'm actually using just Photoshop CS3. It's actually excellent for editing and creating .gifs, as long as you know that opening an animated .gif as a .gif makes it a single frame, but opening an animated .gif as a quicktime movie lets you edit each frame to your heart's content~

Actually I'm having trouble finding a good clip to make a gif out of. If you can find a video with a good clip in it you'd like to have as an avatar just link me and let me know what scene.
