Anthropology 4J03
This course is about diet and nutrition. It covers various issues surrounding diet and nutrition using a biocultural approach. It has a contemporary and historical element. This course is very interesting and informative. The workload is very reasonable and for the major components such as poster presentation and research paper you are free to choose a topic of your interest. This is a seminar style class so you need to be prepared to participate in discussions based on the readings. There are two readings per week.
Dr. Moffat is very helpful and approachable. She incorporates the questions that students have into her discussions.
I highly recommend this course to everyone. You will learn many things about diet and nutrition you have not heard before.
