Anyone who has recently taken Enviro Sci 3B03 give their thoughts on the course?

dr waddington is a fair prof, lecture material was fair and somewhat interesting if your into feedback loops and processes of methane,watervapour, etc. also talked about peatlands and their characteristic/importance

few optional assignments, 1/2 optional tests, a mandatory in lecture presentation, and the final.

i would recommend doing the optinal assignments as he puts them in the tests/final

if you go to the classes and pay attention most of the tests are based around what he says and the lecture notes. he likes to test on stuff he specifically says in class.sometimes he refer to textbook, i found it unnecessary though, aside for some graphs/diagrams. the optional assignments were tricky; excel, research, etc.

optional tests are short answers
final is short answer and MC

7/10 for difficulty

final had no mc. it was 7 short answer you choose out of 8 and 1 long answer. assignments are impossible without TA help. dont skip class either and write down most of what he says since his slides are trash.
